Description

Shipped with USPS Priority Mail. This box is in generally decent condition for its age, with only two flaws. First, there is a small tear in cloth lining of the lid. Second, there is a sizable dent in the lid by the hinge (visible in the third photo). Otherwise, this box just needs a careful polishing.
(Please note that the maker is only an educated guess. The maker's mark is only W.A in a rectangle, which was used by a couple of smiths. I'm pretty sure William Adams worked as late as 1940 though, as opposed to William Aitken, who stopped producing in 1904 to my knowledge.)
I don't have an accurate scale, and only know that this weighs somewhere between 200-226g
