Vintage Solid STERLING SILVER Treasure Vanity Jewelry Trinket Filigree BOX 256g!

Finial on the Lid. The filigree work is very intricate and ornate. This covered box has extended detail on the lid edges and on the bottom of the box,
so the lid goes beyond the rim of the box
and the base becomes a "footed" base. The lid fits nicely. This piece is very heavy at 256 grams! It is unmarked/unsigned. We did both a scratch test and had it "gunned" at our longtime metal refiner. It is definitely .925 Sterling Silver. No idea of it's age, but it is very old. Very good vintage condition, unpolished. Note that the bottom is not flat. It's rather rippled in areas. It doesn't seem to be dents, as it flows. Likely handmade and original to the piece, not certain. It's hard to photograph, but see the last picture. This is NOT scrap melt.
