vintage JEWEL WAKEMASTER clean MCM bakelite TUBE RADIO clock 1950 antique WORKS!

Description

Selling a wonderful antique tube clock/radio.  It has an Art Deco vibe, but was made in 1950 so verging on mid-century modern. Made in Long Island City by Jewel Radio Corp, this is the Wakemaster model 5057U.  It is a tube radio - so cool to see the tube glow when it is on! Case is in great shape with no cracks and is assumed to be bakelite. The clock face is bright, and grill detail is clean.  One minor flaw is the right dial for tuning radio has a chip in it.  Dials are clean (if you compare to other specimens of this model, you will be amazed how clean this one is!).
