    Description

For sale is one DIY kit containing all parts to build the Tune In Tokyo sound effects generator from Rare Waves LLC USA.
This item is new, unopened, and ships direct from the manufacturer.
Assembly is required. Soldering experience is recommended. You will need a soldering iron, solder, wire cutters, and screwdriver to build it.
Tune In Tokyo has three ultrasonic oscillators which are mixed together with a unique waveform generator that creates swirling frequencies across the full audio spectrum.
An LFO is built in to modulate the effect.
Its sound is reminiscent of tuning an old-fashioned shortwave radio, but thicker.
It blends well with ambient sounds and noise music, and it sounds good connected to FX pedals like chorus, phaser, and delay.
If you are an electronic music producer there is lots you could do by sampling and manipulating its tone as a layer to intensify your buildups and drops, etc.
It is manually controlled with 5 knobs and 2 switches.  (No MIDI or CV-Gate interface)
The kit includes the printed circuit board and all parts that mount on it including the plastic legs, screws, and the battery snap.
To use it, Tune In Tokyo must be connected to a guitar amp, keyboard amp, PA system, or line input mixer with a standard ¼? audio cable.
This is version 1.3 of the kit.
