The specifications are as follows:
Size 18L, 3.50mm thick
Size 16L, 3.20mm thick
Only a certain number of shells are thick enough to provide Mother of Pearl buttons such as these. Thin MOP buttons are common and fairly inexpensive but cannot compare to these buttons, which are among the thickest in the world!

A standard shirt usually requires 6 of the size 18L buttons for the front placket plus another two size 18L's based on single button cuffs.  The collar button is typically a 16L, as are the forearm sleeve buttons, for a total of 3 size 16L required.   Please message us if additional buttons are needed - changes can be accommodated!
