    Description

    This is such an awesome painting on this small box.  It shows two women and a child walking in a park, with a cherub statue off to the left side.  I don't know how they can paint so well on such a small area, and over machined silver!  There are no flaws in the cover, and no dings in the silver.  There are some areas that could be polished but are not silver scrapes.  There are two scrapes of the enamel on the right side of the box.  On a stand in my cabinet, they don't show at all.  There is an interior insert or plate which came with it when I purchased it years ago.  I'm not sure what the purpose is.  This has been one of my prettiest displays in my cabinet.  Sterling Silver Guilloche Enamel Compact Box Case painted Victorian Cherub.
