    New Replacement 3V Coin Battery and Holder with Wire leads + Velcro mount
    For Yamaha DX7, TX7, DX21, DX27, DX100, RX15, RX17, RX21,SY77, TG77,
    TX802,
    TX81Z, Korg DW-8000,
    Poly-800 MKII, Akai AX60, Kawai K1r, Roland TR-505 , along with many others that use a 3V CR2032 battery
    Requires desoldering and soldering to install.

    1x   -  Battery Holder with ~9 - 10" lead wires
    1x   -  Set of Velcro Sticker Dots for mounting the battery holder
    Photos show battery installed in a DX7, RX15, RX17, and RX21. Battery is compatible with other models as well.
    Some of the photos are of an older model but functionally as the current version, this model differs slightly from previous versions.
    Newest version is shown in the first photo.
    Installed photos show wired leads twisted, leads do not come twisted, you can twist the leads on your own if you desire
    Wire leads may be cut and stripped to desired length. Wire leads are approx. 9 - 10 inches in length. Red is positive. Black is negative
    NOTE
    : Almost all of the available coin cell battery holders for this type of battery have a
    20mm lead spacing, the original batteries in these Yamaha units have a ~14mm spacing,
    making the 20mm holders incompatible without making modifications. Since this holder has
    wire
    leads it makes it more universal and compatible with a variety of lead spacing pcb mount footprints.
    Installation:
    Backup any data you don't want to lose
    Turn off and Unplug the unit
    Open unit and locate the battery
    Make note of the position of positive and negative pins of the battery
    Cut the original battery from circuit board, desolder the remaining battery pin leads from the circuit board
    Solder in the battery holder wire leads, be sure to solder the Red wire to positive and Black wire to negative
    Mount the battery holder, insert the new battery into the battery holder
    Be sure not to short out the battery pins located on the underside of the battery holder on any metal on your synth
