    This is a beautiful vintage "Hubcap" large 3.125 inch diameter concho shank stainless steel show frog mouth bit embellished with
    GORG
    EOUS
    engraved sterling silver on the curved shanks and tie bar maker marked

    .   This is a style that was very popular in the show ring in the 1970's.  This is a very well made stainless steel bit with a 3/4 inch diameter x 5 inch medium wide frog roller mouthpiece that measures 1-3/4 inches tall by 2-1/4 inches wide.  There are some minor scratches on stainless steel interior shanks.  The inside top of the left cheek is marked

    The shanks measure 7 inches long with a 3 inch purchase for a 2.33 to 1 leverage ratio and weighs a substantial 25.33 ounces making it a bit for a finished
    horse that needs some control and likes some weight to the bit
    .  This is definitely not a bit for a green horse.  This stunning bit will make a great addition to your show bit collection and will look great in any show ring setting.
