Up for auction at NO RESERVE is this antique Chinese Qing dynasty export 18th C century period plate with stunning hand-painted peony flowers in center with branchy root base and beautiful floral decoration in three areas on the sides. Perhaps Imari or Kakiemon style - quite gorgeous and likely for the Japanese market. I think this dates to around the late Kangxi or Yongzheng or early Qianlong period.

This one measures 9” inches in diameter (22.9 cm) and is in great overall condition. It does have one thin hairline and some minor rim frits / chips commensurate with age. Gorgeous plate as you can see!
