A pair of porcelain "Birthday" or "Longevity" famille rose yellow ground dishes or plates with iron-red six character Guangxu (1875-1908) marks and of the period.  The beautiful decoration is finely detailed, featuring a central shou symbol surrounded by character medallions and a key fret band.  Made in very fine porcelain with a 7 1/2 inch diameter, weighing 7 ounces each, in excellent condition with no chips or cracks and extremely minimal wear.
