Hi there
Not so much a question but some further info about this item. This is definitely older than 1987 as the Abingdon MG Plant closed in 1981. I would guess that the '1987' is a doucument number or something similar and just a coincidence that it resembles a date. During the last few years 'British Leyland' became 'BL Cars' and then 'JRT' (Jaguar Rover Triumph). Looking at the form (which is definitely genuine), I would estimate that it is from around the early/mid 1970s
