Maxi Korg analog synthesizer

Description

The Korg Maxi-Korg 800DV, released in 1975 during the “Golden Era” of Japanese high-fidelity audio equipment, is a neat analog duophonic synthesizer. The synth features 2 analog oscillators which can be overlaid for a fat mono sound or used duophonically. The VCOs support several waveforms, including pink and white noise. There are 2x sub oscillators, LFOs, filters, and VCAs. The Maxi-Korg has superb bass and lead tones, bringing out that classic early Korg sound. The build quality is rugged and excellent, with this synth being designed for professional use. The Maxi-Korg has been used by well-known artists such as Vangelis and Soft Cell.
This particular unit is in good condition, with some signs of age and use, including some scratches, rust, and dirt (please see photos). All keys, buttons, and lights are working.
