HTF Olympic Model 449 Red Portable Battery Operated Radio Mid Century Working!

Vintage hard to find Olympic Model 449 battery operated radio that is in working condition.   Radio is able to receive stations quite readily and with minimal background noise.  The vibrant red case is in good condition, with minor chipping and nicks to the body, but no cracks or breaks.  The handle is intact and in great condition.  Both dials turn smoothly and properly.  Inside of the radio is very clean.  Radio operates on a "D" size battery and a 67.5 volt battery, which can be purchased on line.  Batteries are not included with this set.  Great retro radio from the 1950's that is must have for any collection.  In order  to ensure safe delivery, the radio will be double boxed.  Do not hesitate to make an offer, all will be considered.
