E-MU EMU Ensoniq Proteus 2XR Orchestral from1990 Very CLEAN Works 100% OS V2.11  Very Good condition with only a few minor scratches and dings.  The face is very clean and fresh looking with only minor signs of wear. There is some rack ear rash, yet very light.  The case shows almost no wear and looks very nice however it has light scratches and signs of wear all over.   Display is nice and bright and very readable however there are some light scratches and smudges on the LCD bezel cover that dont really show when the synth is turned on.  This synth has no known functional issues and has passed all diagnostic bench testing. Control dial turns nicely and does not skip. Power cord included.
Please note that this Proteus 2XR synth has had a full factory reset and so the presets #64 thru #127 AND #191 thru #255 show as "default" or empty and are ready for you to load with your own custom presets, or you can also find various presets on the internet for the Proteus 2XR that can be loaded via MIDI Sysex.
The Proteus 2XR Orchestral Synth comes with factory installed Protologic Expansion board from Invision Interactive

384 Preset locations (256RAM and 128ROM) and 144 different instruments available and 32 Voice Polyphany.  Has 16 MIDI Channels and 6 Audio Outs as well.
As mentioned above, since this synth has been set to factory specs with a total reset, the presets #64--#127 AND #191--#255 are empty and ready for you to load up with your own custom made presets, or you can load some of the many you may find on the internet for the Proteus 2XR via MIDI Sysex.
