This Japanese cotton
tenugui
is dated Showa 55 (1980) on the fabric, and comes in its original paper wrapper. The writing on the paper and fabric basically says, "Second Stage Dance" and "Hiroshi", a boy's name. On the fabric it says that he is 4 years old, and under the date is, "Big Festival".
This tenugui is intact and has surely never been used, but there is some general wear, dustiness, and rumpling as well as some age-spots and -stains.

Nonetheless, we are always happy to change shipping methods if faster (and thus more expensive) or cheaper (and thus slower) shipping is desired. The shipping options available are (from fastest and most expensive to slowest and least expensive): EMS, Air Mail, SAL (economy airmail), Surface.
Registered mail with tracking is also available for an additional US.50 above the standard Air Mail shipping cost stated in the description.
We are glad to combine multiple items for shipping, and of course will discount some of the postage charges for each item after the first one. Please note that the shipping discount is not large for heavy items, but for small, light things we will discount the shipping charges by 40-100 percent, depending on how heavy it is and how it needs to be packed.
