DESCRIPTION:
Beautiful solid sterling silver triple tiered jewelry box. We date this 1945-1955 and is Japanese made. This style jewelry box is very rare and the only one like it on eBay! Inside this beautiful box has a pinot noir colored soft velvet interior and the top tier has a ring rack. This can also be used as a travel jewelry box and closes up into a tight secured box and even has a solid silver handle! The hinges work perfectly and this stands upright as it should when fully opened. On the outside of the box there’s a beautiful etched design of chrysanthemums and butterflies around the entirety! The underneath is made with a dark wood and shows zero damage! This jewelry box is a show stopper sitting on any dresser and actually holds a lot of jewelry! And if your in a pinch and need to grab your jewelry quickly, just close it up and go! With all the natural disasters happening today, jewelry is normally one of the first items to grab! Plus the bottom tier can hold passports, id’s etc. The top tier can be used without having to open the the other tiers. There’s two latches, one on each side that keeps it closed securely! It’s in gift giving condition and ready to be shown off! No monogram!

Some items can be cleaned better but at least your not getting an item with hidden damage. Patina is someone else's dirt,  plus it hides all scratches, dings and even dents! Sellers who sell items with patina know that damage will hide behind the patina. BUT here’s the catch, after the buyer receives the item and they polish the item only to find damages, it CAN’T be returned! Because the buyer has transformed the item from dirty to polished, you now have changed the face of the item and it can’t be returned! You can’t prove that you personally didn’t damage the item when you cleaned it and now you own a damaged item!?! Patina collects fairly quickly and especially if the item is touched a lot. There’s also ways to get patina quickly onto silver if needed.
