Antique Chinese Blue & White Hand Painted Plate Charger, Likely Kangzi Era
From an upstate, NY estate. One of two plates I have listed this week.
Early antique Chinese blue & white hand painted charger or plate. Unmarked / signed. Fine detail, including figures such as peonies, crab apple blossoms, chrysanthemum, pomegranate, and an artists brush pot or vase with paintbrush and lantern. Quite early, appears to be from the Kangzi era.
Measures approx 9.25” in diameter.
Has a few dark spots / pops dating back to original firing. Plate edge has multiple tiny glaze chips, leaving a rough texture in places. All imperfections are quite subtle, with no significant chips, cracks, or repairs. Plate displays beautifully.
