    Description

    An American sterling silver table box by Ahrendt & Taylor of
    Newark, New Jersey
    with a mounted green hardstone elephant finial. The base of the box is sterling silver and is wood lined with a central divider. The inside lid is gold washed. Circa 1922-1936.   Length
    9" by 4 1/2" wide.
    Height including hardstone elephant handle 5 1/4".  There is a chip on the elephant's ear; otherwise the box is in very good condition with no dents or damage.
