LIMITED TIME ONLY SALE - THIS EBAY ITEM WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE FOR SALE MUCH LONGERVINTAGE ZENITH AM-FM WORKING RADIO (BAKELITE TUBE RADIO)
-MODEL Y724
-Made in USA
circa 1956
-Only had one owner, not a thrift item, carefully stored inside non-smoking, no pets home
-Tested in July 2021 and in good working condition. Once you turn unit on for at least a couple minutes and tune into exact station, station is clear and don't hear any buzzing using brown knob on side of unit to adjust tone/clarity
-In Erie, Pennsylvania (zip code 16506), I could clearly tune in to about 22 channels all around the FM dial
when it was placed by the window on the first/ground floor of the house. The brown knob on the right side of the unit turns to make the stations clear. For AM, I could only find 2 channels and those were not quite as clear as the FM channels as is typical with AM, but I could still hear those ok.
-AS STATED THIS RADIO IS IN WORKING CONDITION, BUT BEING A VINTAGE ELECTRONIC, IT IS
SOLD IN AS-IS CONDITION WITH NO WARRANTY
.

*For those unfamiliar with vintage tube radios, this is a fragile item and must be handled with care. Tube radio technology can have interference/noise in the sound quality, caused by other appliances, etc. in your home and wires outside of your home. Placement of this radio in your home is important along with the direction it is positioned in. Radios of this type with tubes need at least a couple minutes to warm up before they start playing.
